Got to Calf destination

Well, I made it to seminar location south of LA in Orange Co. I have to go and find something to eat. Will post some pics. I saw tumble weeds driving out. And the town of Needles, home of Spike, Snoopy's brother. Gotta go and my body is a little on east coast time. The drive was worthwhile. I listened to spiritual and motivational CDs that I have been putting off and saw a little bit of the country. Saw a little snow near Flagstaff AZ. Desert is not for me. Looking forward in heading up to SF area in a few days. The bikes are doing great, yes two on top. Everyone very friendly wherever I was. I am energized for my new life and practice. Going to start doing my to do list that I have been putting off. So happy I threw out so much, gave away and sold. And will clear out more. I don't think I needed to move across the country to do this, but was/is a catalyst and turned out that way. I could have done it all in Bucks Co. Missing you all already, but you all have made me stronger in your own way.

Going west

Photos: Windmills in Oklahoma, probably T Boone Pickens, pretty clouds and scenic. Now in Arizona, east of Flagstaff of about 100 mi. Went 700 mi today will make seminar area tomorrow. Saw about 3 foreign cars from WV to AZ. Only one car with bikes on roof. Motel 6 tonight only $35. bucks, cool. But not sleeping in car or driving through to Flagstaff missing stars out tonight which are gorgeous, but too tired to drive on. But want to do some reading tonight. Made some notes, but in the car, sorry. No friends of Sven seen. Interesting flatness in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Saw lots of cattle, oh :-( Went two more states with no sign of veggie burgers at Subway. Sightseeing next time. Desert living not for me. Oh, I am moving to a drought area. hmm. If it wasn't for this awesome seminar coming up I would be cheering on my running buddy Aly going for her 1/2 marathon, who is going to kick butt! I am still keeping east coast time, so bedtime.

Drive west continues

Hey, I am in Weatherford, OK. Last gas stop last night warmish in the 30's. Today going to hit 70's, hot weather is hear. Met Uhaul with car of a guy moving from NJ to near my seminar below LA. Drive nothing special. Everyone friendly. Out in the hall on the floor, room wireless not strong enough. Sunny dry driving so far. Saw some equipment on flat beds bigger than my car. Listening to lots of chiropractic and motivation CD's great stuff. Healthy food on the road no, only what I packed in the car, be prepared. To those with sports cars, this is not the road for you. Would have loved your company, but not a driver's road. Got to get going, want to get in a day early and get some things done. Missing you all, but not the cold, snow, gray.

Have a great roommate. . . Cat, gray white face. Came into my motel room as I carried in my bag. Took an hour with the door open (15deg. outside) and mattress off bed. Hopefully there is not another. Past my bedtime.

Hey to those who don't know I am on my road trip to Calf. I missed the snow!! Stayed at cousins Carol and Rich and their daughter Megan near Rockville. Wonderful visit and conversation. Expanded my mind and borrowed Eckard Tolle NOW CD,s and Power of kabbalah. Listened to Now, awesome insights. Saw a dusting of snow only and then off to Ohio to visit cousins Diane and Jim. Another great visit, conversation and their five huge hounds and super friendly. I had their guest house all to myself, pretty cool, warm actually. Visits have been short unfortunately but learning experience of quieting my mind releasing the past. Kentucky and most of Tennessee, no veggie burgers at Subways.

Wholly cow I am on my way. Oh visited this awesome DC in Baltimore, very busy, caring, bends over backwards for this patients new and old. Shooting for 550-600 miles a day. Need to be in Orange Co. for a Seminar all day sat. Want to be there Thurs. pm. Sun. driving up to SF. Appts. Mon. and Tues. Scott and Andrea have been awesome in helping me close up. Going to miss them. Had this awesome going away get together, great friends, and food, makes leaving hard. Had these great choc. flourless brownies. Had great Thai takeout in MD at a Chinese, Thai, Japanese rest. Gosh going to miss the east coast but looking forward to Calf. And working on the new me of putting the past behind. I will make it happen.

This is going to be an awesome year.
