Express Yourself
Adventure isn't something that's reserved for the extreme athelete or the daredevil. It is an expression of your heart's intention and passion for life. Think Big about who you are, what you can do. Embrace challenge, with confidence and belief. Adventure has an unknown outcome. Paraphrased from Matt Walker Yoga Journal Feb. 2010 Adventgure climb ev'ry mountain. But I do think about skydiving. And have sailed the Caribbean with stangers, hot air ballooning, and blind dates, new restaurants. Be Bold and enjoy the ride it is up to you.

Special Encounter Wednesday Night
Late Wednesday night run to my local Whole Foods for Fruit for tomorrow. I saw this fellow happy, smiling as he shopped which is rare at 9:30pm and then near him was this lovely older lady looking at cereal and I hear something to the effect. "Yes mom we need cereal", the same guy walks over with a grin as wide as a whale and says "That looks great, let's get it". And off they go shopping along. When we meet up again later in another isle I had to tell ask are you mother and son and they both say yes, smiling again. He and she introduce themselves and I get this bear hug of a handshake that was firm but gentle at the same time. The women tells me the year she was born, in the 20's. I could not believe it. She had so much vim and vigor and walking well. I had been having a heck of a day with paper work etc., making a mtn out a mole hill. And these too made my night. I would give anything to have my mom still around and be in a relationship with that much love. These two really love and appreciate each other. A rare quality from what I see and where I have been. To the happy son and mom so lucky to still have and enjoy each other's company, maybe that is why she is still kicking up a storm and he is so happy too.
On a side note, and I will try to say this correctly. He was a bit over weight. Let me tell you. If half the gym rats I know (and I am one, but not at the moment) could be so happy they would be lucky. Whether on the trail or Whole Foods depending on the location the the same goes for the rail thin soccer or working mom's need to put life in perspective. Looking good is important, but not to the point of it taking over your life or becoming a health and eating issue. Be happy with who you are and while getting in shape I dearly feel is important, if you don't desire it that is ok. If you love you and who you see in the mirror and any possible health ramifications then ok. I will love you no matter what.
It it is funny so many male chiropractors who have been around for years have a "chiropractor belly" they say it helps them adjusts. Actually, they just eat and enjoy food and don't exercise. They are helping thousands with their lives. So if they are happy with their own, who am I to say differently. Enjoy life for what that means to you. Way past my bedtime. Goodnight. :-)
